Suspects 2016

Inspired by the abstract geometric compositions of Brazilian Neo-Concretism, Suspect I is a low side table consisting of sections of a perfect sphere. Suspect II, its vertically stretched version, allows for multiple uses.

Made out of thin metal sheets, the tridimensional composition of flat round shapes is difficult to be captured by one point of view. The distorted proportions of the tall piece disturbs the strict form of the short one, establishing an odd tension between the two characters.

Shortlisted for ein&zwanzig 2017, German Design Council.

Selected for Protoshop 2018, shown at Habitare Fair, Helsinki Design Week.

Designed in collaboration with Nathalia Mussi.
